Books for Military Sponsorship

Soon after publication of American Sports Legends: Your Turn to Score, a reservist approached D. A. Jennings and mentioned that her book would be ideal for military members.  He believed service men and women could identify with the athletes who face challenges that appear insurmountable, but because of their perseverance and hard work they triumph.  With thirty-two years of civilian service within the Department of Army, the author was hooked on the idea.

Word began to spread of her desire to provide books to the wounded, ill and injured military members.  Soon family, friends and patrons from her author event signings began sponsoring books.  On the first page of every book, that is provided to a service member, is a label which relays appreciation for their service and it provides the name of the individual, family or group that has sponsored the book for them. Below you will find the sponsors and the number of books that have been distributed to various loacations.
