October 5, 2018 - The ladies of Avondell held their pinkies in the air as they sipped tea and ate lunch for the Brightview Avondell Ladies Tea.

The mischievous Kip entertains young readers

Kip, the star of Seize the Cheese, found himself in the homes of hundreds of children this year. One proud grandmother sent in this picture of her granddaughter reading about his mischievous adventures.  For those who have been asking, Kip will return with more antics in 2019.

 2018 - Kip celebrates

National Reading Month

March 16, 2018 - Seize the Cheese became part of Churchville Elementary School’s celebration of National Reading Month. At the school’s invitation, Debbie read her latest book, Seize the Cheese, to a delightfully energetic first-grade class.

Kip, the mischievous mouse, goes to Tiny Toes in Bel Air

March 3, 2018 - Debbie joined Tina Lewis and Karen Jacobs, co-owners of Tiny Toes on Main Street in Bel Air, for Sweets on the Street. Tiny Toes is a children's boutique which specializes in unique clothing and toys not available in department and chain stores. 

Seize the Cheese was featured at Tiny Toes on Main Street along with American Sports Legends and One Hundred Lives.

 2018 - Harford Community College Creative Writing Fundamentals

Continuing Education classes Spring 2018 - Debbie is teaching her largest class yet at Harford Community College.  Designed to help writers express themselves, she uses a variety of techniques and exercises to improve writing, and motivation.  Written work is shared in a friendly and supportive environment.
