November 4, 2021 - D.A. Jennings read her latest children's illustrated book, The Tapping Stick, to students at the Bridges Montessori School, Bel Air campus. Two online presentations were given: one for the Upper Elementary class of eleven students; one for the Lower Elementary class of twenty-one children. The study of nature is part of their curriculum, and they were well versed in the diversity of trees and the measurement guidelines for determining Champion Trees. The children were attentive, asked well-thought out questions, and came up with some remarkable suggestions. It was a great day for sharing the joys of nature.
